Whilst the government has set very strong rules & guidelines on social distancing and personal hygiene, coronavirus continues to spread. Even when the situation improves and a vaccine is rolled-out, a large percentage of the population will remain at high risk - directly or indirectly.
We are always on hand to advise and assist in making premises safer through specialist Coronavirus Covid-19 decontamination methods. Thereafter, due to the possibility of mutations and reinfections, covid hygiene and decontamination will remain a high priority for organisations and their employees.
Cocid-19 & Viral Transmission
Where individuals have contracted Coronavirus Covid-19 , any surface that has been touched can readily be contaminated, making onward transmission almost inevitable. Although hand-washing is an imperative, it is unlikely that this will reliably always occur immediately after contact.
In this way, the virus spreads as people touch door handles, light switches, computer equipment, chairs and desktops. The virus can remain dangerous on hard and soft surfaces for days. The incubation period for covid-19 coronavirus is thought to last between 2 and 16 days. Therefore, blindly touching contaminated surfaces is a potent channel of transmission even though social distancing is being observed.
